I *need* a motorcycle

Ah yes. I'm getting a little bit sentemental here. I just finished reading a news story that reminded me of the good ol' days. State Police in Minnesota just broke their unofficial record for the fastest speeding ticket ever issued in the state of Minnesota. It was given to a motorcyclist, clocked at 205mph or 330km/h. (That is so incredibly cool, it brings a tear to my eye.) That happens to be 140mph (225km/h) over the posted speed limit of 65mph. (To read the full story, as long as it remains available, click here.) They should have given him a prize instead of a ticket. If I were a cop, the only reason I'd pull over a speeder going 140mph over the limit would be to congratulate him! I *need* to buy a motorcycle again.

Lawn darts & Uzi

This past Monday marked the end of a 10-year ban on assault weapons in the good ol' USA. So American citizens can now go out and legally purchase useful tools such as an Uzi, an AK47, and so on. I find it more than ironic, in this day and age with all the safety freaks that seem to be running our society, that a country like the USA has a ban on lawn darts (a toy that is deemed to be of utmost danger to society), but at the same time they allow the sale of assault weapons capable of firing over 600 rounds per minute. Kind of makes you go, "hmm..."

Year of the monkey

Awesome! I was born in the year of the monkey. (I wouldn't have wanted it any other way.) You can generate a Chinese name for yourself, as well as find out in which Chinese year you were born, at this website: click here.
